The Manitoba Neuroscience Network (MNN) is an initiative formed
to enhance coordination, efficiency and clinical application of neuroscience
discovery in Manitoba.
The MNN operates the Winnipeg Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience,
an offical SfN chapter.
Please visit the Manitoba
Neuroscience Network's new website. Over the course of the year, more
of the WCSN's web site content will be migrating there.
Our main activities are an annual scientific meeting in June, and
a monthly seminar series. These events bring together our province's
neuroscience researchers in an effort to encourage familiarity,
communication and collaboration among our broad basic and clinical
neuroscience research community.
As an outreach activity, to raise awareness of our research and to
promote neuroscience education, the MNN has launched its
Speaker Bureau. Manitoba neuroscientists
are available to provide talks geared to a lay audience - schools, community
centres, or charitable organizations.
